The article offers a preview of the on-going research on the manuscript sources of Maria Maddalena de Pazzi, revealing a substantial link between the Florentine Carmel of Santa Maria degli Angeli and the Savonarolian circles. The analysis of the manuscripts shows different miracles attribuited to Savonarola, also in favour of the Carmelite nuns and their superior, Don Agostino Campi, the Dominican laywoman Bagnesi and the prioress of the Saint, Evangelista del Giocondo. The community of Santa Maria degli Angeli, deeply rooted in the most lively spirituality of the achidiocesi of Florence, and connected to the Observance movement, promoted the veneration of Savonarola, preparing the spiritual humus of renewal of the Churc in which the prophetic and Trinitarian charisma of St. Maria Maddalena de Pazzi flourished.
